Physically Volunteer

• Walk Dogs with us to get them use to walking on a leash-

• Socialize our puppies and dogs

• Crush aluminum cans at the shelter

• Help wash laundry and dishes

• Pick up aluminum cans from the Corp of Engineer Rec Parks

• ​Transport animals to out of town vets and/or rescue locations

  • Volunteers younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. ​

 

Foster 

• Apply to be a foster home for one of our animals

  • complete an application on the cat or dog tab​

Become a member of the Heber Springs Humane Society

• Members vote on board members and have an important voice  in the organization. Membership forms are located at the shelter, thrift store or monthly meetings. If you want to be on the board of directors you must be a member. ​​

Attend monthly meetings ​

• Monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of each month 5:30 pm at the community center unless noted otherwise on FB
